Camshaft / crankshaft position sensor suitable for a wide range of Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles. Depending on the vehicle and engine, Toyota uses this sensor for monitoring either camshaft or crankshaft position.
The sensor provides engine position and speed information to the ECU, allowing accurate control of ignition timing, fuel injection and other engine management functions.
A faulty position sensor can cause symptoms including difficult starting, intermittent stalling, engine misfires, poor performance, loss of power, engine warning lights or a crank/no-start condition.
This is a direct replacement 2-pin aftermarket sensor supplied with O-ring seal and mounting point as pictured.
