Voltage Sensitive Relay (VSR) Secondary Battery Isolator Kit for 4WD and Marine applications.
This kit allows you to install a secondary battery in your vehicle for running auxiliary devices such as fridges and lighting. Ideal for 4WD, Marine, Caravan, Campervan and Solar applications. While your engine is running, the VSR detects that the alternator is running (voltage is above 13.3V) and allows your secondary battery to charge. When your engine is off (voltage is below 12.8V) the VSR isolates the secondary battery, which prevents your auxiliary devices from draining your starting battery. This can be used instead of a DC-DC battery, and would work for a deep cycle battery in a 4WD or boat.
Includes the parts you need to install a secondary battery - battery is not included. May require additional ground wires in fiberglass boats etc which do not used the body of the vehicle as ground.
Included VSR isolator, wiring, crimps, terminals and heat shrink. Tools such as a crimper will be required for install.
